Lithography apprenticeship starts.

My lithography apprenticeship at Leicester Print Workshop began at the start of September. I was set going on a large stone, approximately 50 cm by 37 cm. On this I have marked out 15 rectangles, each 7.5 cm by 10 cm. In each space I have tried out a different medium, application method and image transfer technique. There is a huge amount information to take in. Lots of possibilities and at the same time so many restrictions; or at least correct sequences that have to be adhered too to get results. I have been looking at other artists lithographs with greater appreciation and understanding.
