I am still failing to get back to the paintings despite re-newed enthusiasm for idea after Venice. I have yet again been spending time printing. Various print submissions are coming up so I am working on pieces for these and, most exciting of all, I have been awarded the Lithograph Apprenticeship at Leicester Print Workshop. So from September I will be learning the art of lithography properly. This is exhilarating and frightening all at the same time. A bumbler at the best of times I will have to unlearn my current lithography technique and go back to basics. September is approaching fast so I'm trying to get some things done before I concentrate my time and mind on the apprenticeship.
